You Know You Have a Good Caregiver When
All last week our live-in caregiver Cristina went on vacation. So, Josie, my other sister and I shared duties (something we’re accustomed to) and took care of our parents in the middle of the week. I took the mornings, Josie took the evenings, and our other sister stayed overnight.
Everything ran pretty smoothly, but one thing that made me laugh…..Dad told me, ” I don’t like the way you give baths, Cristina is better.” Well I know he hates that his daughters have to wash him up. It’s always uncomfortable for everyone. Cristina gives him extra TLC…and I don’t mean it that way! =)
But she does massage Aspercreme on his legs and gives him a good scrub down. At least we know that he’s being taken care of!
