Learn MoreUP such an inspiring movie
A few months ago my husband and I had the pleasure of taking our daughter to see “UP”, the heartwarming story of an elderly man who befriends a little boy scout. I don’t want to ruin any of the plot if you haven’t seen yet. But, this was one of the few movies that Disney along with Pixar produced that had me tear up at many points throughout the movie. It’s crazy how that works because it’s a cartoon! But whoever writes these story lines really knows how to tug at the heart. I watched it again last night, and I couldn’t help but cry again as I thought about my parents, about my life, about my sister and my late brother-in-law. My daughter enjoys all the funny scenes and she doesn’t understand the underlying meaning that only us grown-ups can relate to, but much like I reacted when I saw Bambi for the first time, later on when she’s older she’ll see it in a different light.
Why do I think it’s so inspiring? Because it teaches you that, no matter what happens in life, you should never give up on your dreams.
