I just enjoyed a nice day with my family with a photoshoot at the beach. It was a nice ending to another enjoyable Christmas. But now the hard work begins. Our caregiver just went on vacation for two weeks. So, my sisters and I will be alternating days of helping our parents: doing their ADLs and medication, etc.

Also, this week I am covering the Holiday Bowl as a photographer. So, busy busy busy week ahead. Luckily, our weekend help comes on Friday to help us out a little bit.

On Friday we will be meeting with a security camera specialist from ADT security. We don’t know how much it’ll cost. But the reason why we are getting it, is that we will be having a combination of our in-home caregivers and possibly outside caregivers for emergency situations. We might look into nanny cams…seriously speaking I don’t think a surveillance system would be allowed in the rented house we have our parents. With 24 hour surveillance it might a bit costly as well. But we’ll see. Keep you posted on whether or not we will be going this route. I think if anything, a nanny cam should suffice.
