Are you grieving? I am. But Mom is still with us.
Grief results not only from the loss of a loved one. Sometimes we don’t know that’s the emotion we’re experiencing in a relationship, or even a job (which is also a relationship). This morning, I recalled a therapy session years ago in which it was suggested I was grieving the loss of the relationship I once had with my, then, husband of 20 years.
